INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT PROGRAMSMVP Aero Academy was established in 1992 at the Westheimer Airport in Houston, Texas. Beginning with one instructor and one Cessna 150, it has grown to encompass over 1400 active customers (students, owners, and renters), 16 aircraft, and 24 Certified Flight Instructors. Now located at Weiser Airpark) and Lonestar Executive Airport (CSO), MVP focuses on providing quality education, quality aircraft and quality flight instruction to its client base. MVP has facilitated the careers of many International Students and has trained many pilots who have achieved in excess of 1400 varied ratings in its history. Many Pilots, Dispatchers, Air Traffic Controllers who have all learned to fly at MVP, have gone on to further their careers in aviation with a wide variety of airlines and companies. In the last two years, 13 ATP ratings have been achieved by MVP students. Pilots from many countries have begun their aviation careers at MVP. Students from Latin and South America, the United Kingdom, many European Countries, India, Australia, Russia and from throughout Southeast Asia have earned their US Licenses and completed tailored programs which have been established to meet the varied requirements of individual countries. For instance, MVP has established a specific program which provides the Indian student with 250 hours of which 25 are multi-engine (including night flying) and meet the requirements of the Indian regulatory body, DGCA. These tailored programs have been designed to minimize cost to the student while providing a high quality curriculum. MVP offers a sound educational curriculum and highly qualified instructors. The development of and adherence to a standard curriculum has greatly facilitated training, minimized student costs, and insured a high level of both academic and flight experience. MVP is a Part 141 certified Flight School. As such, the Federal Aviation Administration has reviewed and approved MVP's curriculum, approach, aircraft and flight instructors. An active management team works with the Chief Pilot and Assistant Chiefs to insure all aspects of the program are adhered to. We constantly review the quality of its instruction and its success rate with students achieving specific ratings.
